Jason Hoffman is President and CEO of MobiledgeX, where his decades of experience in telecommunications and cloud infrastructure have driven him to design the future of mobile edge services, applications, and devices.
Jason is considered one of the architects of large scale cloud computing, having led the development of container technologies, asynchronous, high concurrency runtimes, and converged server, storage, and networking systems. For over a decade, he was CTO and Founder of pioneering IaaS and software provider Joyent (now owned by Samsung). Here, Jason ran product, engineering, operations, and commercial management for a decade, launching the most popular asynchronous runtime (node.js), most secure KVM-based VMs, as well as the world’s first serverless and first container-as-a-service offering.
Most recently, Jason was CTO for Digital Services at Ericsson, where he led a 30,000 person unit responsible for the company’s multinational cloud and datacenter infrastructure business. While at Ericsson, his group led the market in the modernization of telecom infrastructure and created the world’s first hyper-scale, disaggregated system.
Leah Maher is General Counsel and COO of MobiledgeX. Her experience includes 25+ years of providing legal advice and business development initiatives in both public and private companies.
Before joining MobiledgeX, she served as head of operations product area cloud systems at Ericsson AB a mobile network infrastructure and software company.
Prior to Ericsson, she was the general counsel for Joyent, Inc. a public cloud infrastructure and enterprise software company. Her prior experience includes legal and business development roles at Force10 Networks, SpectraLink, American Tower, PictureTel, Parametric Technology and Prime Computer.
Leah holds a B.A. degree in economics and government from Colby College and a J.D. degree from the University of Akron School of Law.
Wonho is the Chief Product Officer and Senior Vice President of Product Management and Development at MobiledgeX. With over 10+ years of experience in infrastructure software, cloud platforms, cloud computing technologies, and the application development industry, Wonho brings creativity, knowledge, and a strong understanding of the product lifecycle to help lead the MobiledgeX team in developing a world-class commercialized Edge Cloud product, from inception to production. At MobiledgeX, Wonho is responsible for defining and prioritizing product features, engaging the engineering team and advising on the best technical implementation methods while driving business models innovation and new product segments, and influencing product strategy. Prior to MobiledgeX, Wonho was the founding engineer for Pluribus Networks, where he developed and led the engineering team to build a distributed network operating system, netvisor, to run on switches and bring software-defined networking (SDN) to the data center world.
Wonho holds a B.S. degree from Korea and an M.S. and a Ph.D. degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, all in electrical engineering.
Ulf has spent his entire 25+ year career working in the telecom industry in various leadership roles ranging from R&D, Product Line management, Partnering and Alliances to Business Development and Sales.
Before joining MobiledgeX, Ulf worked at Ericsson heading up sales teams for various Operators in North America, the latest being AT&T.
Ulf has Bachelors degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Helsinki Technical Institute, and an MBA from University of Dallas.
Michael Lochead is SVP of Customer Success and Product Marketing at MobiledgeX. Michael brings over two decades of leadership in cloud computing, DevOps, open source and infrastructure software.
Prior to MobiledgeX, Michael built and led global product and services teams at high growth companies in Silicon Valley including cloud pioneer Joyent, and was a co-founder at Scalr, a Gartner MQ leader for cloud management platforms.
Michael spent over 11 years at Oracle Corporation and served on the senior leadership team for Oracle's Support and Services Organization.
Michael holds a B.A from St. Lawrence University.
